Spring Festival This Weekend

Please come out and welcome spring in style at the Southport Spring Festival, a tradition for more than 25 years. Running from 10am until 5pm on Friday and 10am until 4pm on Saturday, this festival features a wide variety of activities such as musical entertainment, handmade arts and crafts, children’s activities, azaleas and other plants for sale, and food vendors. Included is a Chili Cook-Off, so get your taste buds ready to vote for the People’s Choice Award. There will also be a 5k Run/Walk. The Festival is sponsored by Downtown Southport, Inc. and the Southport-Oak Island Kiwanis Club.

Under The Dome Filming

Driving down Howe Street this morning, you will notice those arrow signs again marked UTD.  That means our beautiful town is once again part of filming.  So exciting!

Under The Dome will be filming here all day today!
