What a Glorious Day!
Today is Tuesday and it is a beautiful day. The skies are a little lighter than the water. The water has a few ripples and the occasional white cap. There are not any boats out there, but that is probably due to the small craft advisory that is out today. Looking out my window at this glorious day, it is hard to imagine there is a possibility of winter precipatation for tomorrow night. Oh Spring, where are you???

It is now February 2011, the shortest month of the year that feels like the longest! The groundhog did not see his shadow, therefore Spring is just around the corner. Although, I believe I would have a hard time convincing some neighbors to our north. Locally, here in Southport, we have had quite the few days. Monday and Tuesday were cold, as February should be, Wednesday it was 74 degrees, and today it was in the 50's with temperatures dropping fast! But,as I keep reminding myself... the groundhog did not see his shadow, so Spring is just around the corner...I hope!
