Southport is Full of Activity!

One of the things I love most about this area is that there is always something going on!  Southport hosted another successful Wooden Boat Show this past weekend.  I absolutely loved seeing the boats driving through Southport.  We welcomed the Wounded Warriors last week with flags lining downtown, not to mention the American Flag hanging over the center of the street courtesy of our fire department in town.
Just as these events come to a close we are gearing up for the U.S. Open King Mackerel Tournament that is being held this coming weekend, October 5th and 6th.
There will be music and plenty of activity all weekend long!  Check out this website for a complete list of activity times.  http://www.usopenkmt.com/schedule.htm
See you down at the Southport Marina this weekend!
